Online project management

The project manager that connects tasks, clients and calendar

Plan projects with kanban boards, organize the team's tasks and keep all client information in one place.

Everything you need to run a project from start to finish

Plan by stages

Create columns for each phase, move cards and see what's pending, in progress or done.

Coordinate the team

Share projects, assign tasks and use roles so each person has the access they need.

Work by client

Keep contacts, meetings, notes and access connected without losing the thread of the work.

The project and client context, on one card

A project isn't just tasks: it's meetings, people and access. Kanlane brings it all together on each client's card, so you know what to do and who to talk to.

Built to focus

Kanlane runs in the browser and can be installed as an app. It keeps your latest data for offline work, and syncs changes when the network returns. Passwords are encrypted in your browser with a master password.

Start with your next project

Try the demo, join as a guest or create an account. No card is required to start and you can export your data.

Try the board before deciding

Drag a card, open a task and try its subtasks. It's a demo with sample data; no account needed.

If the board doesn't load, open the demo in a separate page.

How to organize a project step by step

  1. Define the outcome. Write what must be done and by when. A concrete delivery is easier to plan than a generic to-do list.
  2. Split the work. Create small, assignable tasks, with subtasks when a step has several parts.
  3. Design the stages. A simple board can start with "Pending", "In progress" and "Done". Add columns only if your flow needs them.
  4. Give the team visibility. Use deadlines and assignees so you know who works on each task and what needs attention.
  5. Review the context. Connect meetings and contacts with the client and adjust the board after each delivery.

This flow works for development, design, support, marketing and other work that moves through stages. In Kanlane you can start from a template or define your own project.

An example: a website for a client

Split the project into content, design, development and review phases. Add the kickoff meeting to the calendar, create a task to receive the copy and another to review the homepage. Assign each task to a person and note the deadline. When a client question arrives, you'll have the contact, the next meeting and the board status at hand.

What to check before choosing a manager

Try how tasks are created and moved, whether you can see dates on a calendar, how projects are shared and what happens offline. If you manage clients, also check where contacts are stored and how to export your data. The Kanlane demo lets you try the board without signing up.
